Longkanker, veel slijm en hoesten – ervaring van Dick

Lung cancer with a great deal of mucus in the lungs
Dick is 67 years old and was told by his oncologist that he has only half a year left to live! He has a severe form of lung cancer with a great deal of mucus in the lungs. He also coughed a great deal. He was very short of breath. Sleeping with the windows open did not help at all. Medication against the coughing and the mucus also achieved nothing.
Dick has a malignant tumour in his lungs with a risk of metastases.
He had read about halotherapy and discussed it with his lung specialist and his oncologist.
They were not opposed to it and gave him permission to try a course of halotherapy. He came by and started a course at the Haloclinic. The first weeks were intensive, three one-hour halotherapy sessions per week. This continued with halotherapy treatment twice a week. Dick now comes to the salt room once a week.
Quality of life increased
The mucus in the lungs decreased, the coughing diminished considerably and his night's rest improved. His quality of life increased.
Half a year later, he told us that the oncologist saw on the lung X-rays that the tumour had become neither smaller nor larger, and there were no metastases either. The oncologist was extremely pleased!
He underwent a halotherapy treatment once a week; after half a year he had another examination and a lung X-ray was taken. This showed that the tumour was in remission. His lung specialist and his oncologist were baffled by this.
Lung X-ray taken at the oncologist
The oncologist was delighted with the result. Dick was so happy that he dared to make a long journey with his family again.
Two years after starting halotherapy another lung X-ray was taken at the oncologist and this time the oncologist reacted happily and with surprise that the tumour was still in remission, and became so interested that he promptly asked for a brochure from the HaloClinic.
